Summer: You CAN... enjoy the Rockies in the summer! Challenge Aspen offers year-round programs, including a variety of summer camps for children, teens and adults. (Adult programs are also offered through our C.A.M.O. division.) Rocky Mountain summers are spectacular, and when the snow and ice begin to melt, Challenge Aspen pulls out the summer gear to offer everything from award-winning gold medal rivers for fly fishing and rafting to horseback riding, hiking and climbing.
We have created summer camps both for the music, art and dance enthusiast and the outdoor adventurer in your family. Weeklong kids' camps provide the perfect setting, a knowledgeable staff and a safe, natural community where children are free to create memories of their own to share with their families at the end of a beautiful Colorado day.
All Challenge Aspen summer camps are Day camps.
Winter: Taking advantage of its location at the Snowmass ski area and its partnership with Aspen Skiing Company, Challenge Aspen offers a variety of winter activities, including adaptive alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Skiing and snowboarding lessons are provided by adaptive-trained, PSIA/AASI-certified instructors. Lessons are available at all levels for individuals ages 4 and up who have a physical and/or cognitive disability.
