Aspen's premier musical entertainment duo for all affairs. The musical duo "Eclipse" is the creation of two longtime local musicians Carolyn Golbus & Gary Baines. Their eclectic set consists of favorites by the Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Bonnie Raitt & Alanis Morissette with legendary duets by by Johnny & June as well as current hits by Mark Knopfler & Emmylou Harris. Both singer songwriters they entertain with original tunes as well! A perfect acoustic duo for any occasion!

Heart of the Rockies (Cash Cashman, Twirp Anderson, John Sommers & Randy Utterback) has long been loved and respected throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and Western Slope of Colorado for its wide variety of fun-filled acoustic musical entertainment for any occasion and people of all ages. Combining excellent musicianship on guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin and upright bass with superb vocals and entertaining showmanship, Heart of the Rockies performances set a mood of celebration inspired by the splendor of the Rocky Mountains. Heart of the Rockies will be playing at the Silvertree Hotel for apres ski this winter.

There’s a spicy force on Aspen’s nightlife scene: Salsa Night at Jimmy’s, where Aspen’s Latino culture has a crowd of regulars partying way past midnight. Just as the dinner crowd begins to wind down, the tables are pulled back and the steamy, tropical beat of Afro-Latino rhythms begin to percolate through the room. As if choreographed by Tito Puente, crisply dressed pairs flock onto the dance floor to perform their seductively synchronized movements. Having taken tango and salsa dance lessons for more than a year, Jimmy was searching for an outlet for his newfound passion. “I was just looking for a place where my friends and I could dance.” The Saturday night gigs have fast become an Aspen institution, inhabited by true aficionados, devotees of the Latino musical genre, and curious wannabes who quickly fall prey to these additively sexy rhythms. Jimmy’s Salsa Night is the newest hot and spicy addition to Aspen’s late-night scene.
