Aspen Institute Summer Celebration
16th Annual Summer Celebration at the Aspen Institute: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Goethe Convocation, and the Walter and Elizabeth Paepcke Family

Dinner honoree will be Lester Crown, recipient of the first Walter Paepcke Memorial Award for the person who best exemplifies the spirit of the founder of the Aspen Institute.
The evening’s festivities will begin with a concert by renowned legendary artist Jessye Norman, in the Benedict Music tent at 5:00 p.m. She will perform pieces from her “American Masters” program. The American Masters program consists of music by Bernstein, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Ellington, Gershwin, Eubie Blake, and Scott Joplin.
The “Paepcke Necklace”, a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry designed and donated by Ariane Zurcher, a Paepcke granddaughter, will be auctioned off at the dinner.
The Summer Celebration reception and dinner will follow the concert at the Doerr-Hosier Center. Dinner co-chairs are Jessica and Henry Catto, and David and Julia Koch. Honorary co-chairs are Antonia Paepcke DuBrul, and Paula Paepcke Zurcher.
Benefactor level tickets are $1500 per person, or Patron level tickets are $500 per person. Tables of ten are available for $25,000 or $15,000.
