Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers
Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers is a non-profit organization that works with agency partners, trains volunteer leaders, gathers the resources, and recruits volunteers to plan and implement projects. Our projects include campground restoration, wildlife habitat improvement and viewing areas, tree and wetland plantings, and trail construction and maintenance. We also sponsor adopt-a-trail programs to provide continued maintenance, and promote other volunteer opportunities on public lands.
Red Hill Trails – Carbondale Thursdays in May – 5:30 til dusk We’re trying out a new way to maintain these heavily used trails, and give you a chance to enjoy a beautiful spring evening outdoors. Meet at the main trailhead at 5:30 p.m. and work with us until dusk.
