Recreational Activities : Snowmobiling
Snowmobile tours at Sunlight Mountain Resort provide riders with stunning views of Mt. Sopris, the West Elk Mountains, and the Flattops as they wind through aspen groves, powder-filled meadows, and evergreen forests. Featuring state-of-the-art snowmobiles with electric hand warmers, independent front suspension, and hydraulic disc braking systems, the guided tours include all gear and basic snowmobile instruction. Sunlight is hosting Crystal River Spas Spring Thing March 20th and 21st. Crystal River Spas will have a hot tub set up on the snow, so guests are invited to bring their swimsuits. There will be pro-snowboarders riding our rainbow rail over the tub in front of the sundeck. Sunlight will also host a dual slalom mountain bike race on Saturday. Racers should be at Sunlight by noon for registration and are allowed to take practice runs beginning at 10AM.
