Anderson Ranch is a destination for art making and a catalyst for critical dialogue in the contemporary art world. The Ranch is open to the public, offering an exciting array of experiences for artists and art lovers alike: 140+ summer workshops, Lunchtime Auctionettes (select Fridays), the six-week Summer Series: Featured Artists & Conversations (July 6 – August 10); 21st Annual Recognition Dinner (July 20); the Annual Art Auction & Community Picnic (August 5) as well as exhibitions and other public events throughout the action-packed summer. Starting on June 5th, the Ranch Café is open to the public Monday – Friday for lunch, 12 – 1pm. Unique gifts, artwork and supplies are available in the ArtWorks Store.

Stock up on Rock Bottom Ranch meat, eggs, vegetables, greens, herbs and more for sale at the Ranch during open hours and at local farmer’s markets. Join ACES for a variety of community events this summer including the annual Raptor Fair at Hallam Lake, two free Jessica Catto Dialogue lectures, Stars Above Aspen Astronomy Night on Aspen Mountain, and much more!

Aspen Music Festival and School

The Aspen Music Festival and School is the United States’ premier classical music festival, presenting more than 400 musical events during its eight-week summer season, from June 29 - August 20. Led by Music Director Robert Spano, the institution brings together 630 pre-professional students from more than forty countries, joining them with more than 200 guest artists and artist-faculty members. This signature mix of uniting education and performance gives Aspen events a special energy that permeates all the Festival offerings, including symphonic and chamber music concerts, solo recitals, vocal programs, fully-staged operas, children’s programs, public master classes, lectures, and backstage tours. In 2017, the program features Verdi’s La traviata, soprano Renée Fleming, violinist Sarah Chang, bassist Edgar Meyer, pianist Yefim Bronfman, and much more!
