T-Lazy-7 Snowmobiles

T-Lazy-7 is Aspen’s premier snowmobile tour operator, offering picturesque tours through the White River National Forest by special-use permit. All tours are led by knowledgeable guides with a love of the area and its history. The 2-hour Maroon Bells Tour takes guests up to the Maroon Lake at the base of the majestic Maroon Bells for hot cocoa and stunning opportunities for photos. The 3-hour Klondike Lunch Tour cruises through winding trails of Aspen groves up to the cozy Klondike cabin with views of the 14,000’ Pyramid Peak, where guests enjoy natural grass-fed cheese burgers. The 31⁄2 hour Independence Pass Lunch Tour takes guests through Colorado’s majestic high-country with snowy vistas, past a mining ghost town, frozen crystal waterfalls, and off to a rustic cabin for a hot lunch of the Ranch’s famous beef burgers. No experience necessary.

Join an ACES Naturalist for daily snowshoe hikes on Aspen and Snowmass Mountains, and at the Ashcroft Ski Touring Center, or ski a run with a Naturalist on a free downhill tour offered daily from the Wapiti Wildlife Center at Snowmass. For private, custom adventures, hire an ACES Naturalist, available by the hour. Also at ACES, experience the world travel slide show series, Potbelly Perspectives, on Wednesday evenings, and the ecology-based lecture series, Naturalist Nights on Thursday evenings. Stop by our visitor centers Monday through Friday: Hallam Lake, a 25-acre nature preserve in the heart of Aspen, or Rock Bottom Ranch, an educational farm between Basalt, offering guided Farm Tours on Wednesday and Fridays at 11AM.

FREE shuttles provide transportation around Aspen to recreation, entertainment and the airport. Bus service between Aspen and Snowmass Village is free. The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) provides convenient low-fare bus service from Aspen to Rifle and all communities in between. Maroon Bells Scenic Bus Tour is as scenic and educational trip that travels from Aspen Highlands to the Maroon Bells through September. Tickets are required.
